Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary care via telemedicine, delivering compassionate virtual visits
• Perform comprehensive evaluations, diagnose conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage chronic diseases and preventive care with evidence-based guidance
• Prescribe and manage medications appropriately and responsibly for telehealth patients
• Document encounters clearly and efficiently in the electronic health record
• Coordinate care with specialists and local providers to ensure continuity
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and help optimize telemedicine workflows
• Communicate proactively with patients and families to support access and engagement

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active California medical license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start
• Comfortable practicing via telemedicine with strong virtual communication skills
• Basic life support certification (BLS) required; additional certifications as applicable

Education

• MD or DO with completion of residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience delivering care via telemedicine platforms and virtual visit workflows
• Proficient with electronic health records and clinical documentation
• Strong clinical judgment in primary care diagnosis and management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for patient-centered virtual care
• Ability to manage time efficiently and handle a steady outpatient telehealth schedule
• Collaborative approach to working with interdisciplinary clinical teams
