Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and calm
• Operate and optimize imaging equipment (all GE rooms / GE Innova) to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare, scrub and maintain sterile field and procedural instrumentation for a variety of cath lab cases
• Coordinate with the team to ensure seamless patient flow, 1:1 patient care and efficient turnover between cases
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in Meditech and MacLab to support continuity of care
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergent cases when needed
• Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement through clear communication and best-practice adherence

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in cardiac catheterization or related special procedures
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ARRT certification required
• Demonstrated competency in Special Procedures and GE Innova imaging systems
• Hands-on experience scrubbing in the Cath Lab and familiarity with typical cath lab workflows
• RCIS certification is a plus and will make your application stand out
• Comfortable using Meditech and MacLab clinical systems

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures (stents, balloons, angiograms)
• GE Innova imaging systems operation
• Scrubbing, sterile technique and instrument handling
• EMR proficiency: Meditech and MacLab
• Strong team communication, critical thinking and patient-centered care
• Ability to perform reliably in a fast-paced, on-call environment
