Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care across assigned units
• Assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up
• Respond promptly to patient needs and urgent clinical situations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (appropriate to role) - Maine license preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications a plus
• Valid clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting; dependable and professional
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Comfortable working the posted day shift start time of 6:45 AM

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN diploma/Associate/BSN as appropriate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Clear communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
• Familiarity with electronic health records and standard nursing workflows
