Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; specific days not specified)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
- Assist with safe transfers, positioning, and fall prevention measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate effectively with the care team
- Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to keep residents safe
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred where applicable
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
Education
- Completion of a Geriatric Nursing Assistant program or equivalent; high school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skill in assisting with ADLs and personal care
- Understanding of basic infection control and safety procedures
- Comfortable with resident transfers and mobility assistance
- Good observational skills to notice subtle changes in condition
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
- Teamwork and reliability in a fast-paced care environment
