Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy for communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with nurses, PT/OT, and family members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document progress and outcomes accurately and timely in the patient record
- Train and educate caregivers and staff on communication strategies and dysphagia management
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discharge planning and continuity of care
Qualifications
- Massachusetts license or eligibility to obtain state SLP license
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience evaluating and treating adult rehabilitation and post-acute populations preferred
- Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with facility protocols
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and management
- Skilled in AAC strategies and cognitive-communication interventions
- Strong interpersonal and counseling skills for patients and families
- Excellent documentation and electronic medical record experience
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
