Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assist residents with daily living activities
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and safe transfers
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control practices
• Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and colleagues
• Help document care accurately and timely to ensure continuity

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Active status on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry (or eligible to transfer)
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift and flexible per diem availability
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and safe-handling procedures
• Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate observations clearly
