Shift Type: Rotating night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night shift). Schedule includes nights and weekends; candidates should expect a rotating schedule with at least 4 weekends worked per schedule period.

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing for NVICU patients, monitoring complex conditions and responding quickly
• Perform advanced procedures and assist with central line and arterial line placement when needed
• Support airway management, including intubation and post-intubation care, to keep patients stable
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Document patient status and interventions accurately in the Meditech EMR
• Educate patients and families about care plans and recovery expectations with compassion
• Float across ICUs and related units as needed, bringing flexibility and clinical strength to the team

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU or critical care nursing experience
• ACLS certification (required)
• Hands-on experience with central line and A-line care; intubation experience preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus
• Team-player attitude, accountability, and a caring bedside manner

Education

• Current RN licensure; ADN or BSN in Nursing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and bedside management for high-acuity patients
• Proficiency with standard ICU equipment and monitoring
• Experience with central line, arterial line, and EVD care
• Airway management and intubation support
• Basic familiarity with oncology and neuro patient needs is helpful
• Strong clinical documentation skills in an EMR environment (Meditech preferred)
