Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night shift). Schedule includes nights and weekends; candidates should expect a rotating schedule with at least 4 weekends worked per schedule period.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care nursing for NVICU patients, monitoring complex conditions and responding quickly
- Perform advanced procedures and assist with central line and arterial line placement when needed
- Support airway management, including intubation and post-intubation care, to keep patients stable
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient status and interventions accurately in the Meditech EMR
- Educate patients and families about care plans and recovery expectations with compassion
- Float across ICUs and related units as needed, bringing flexibility and clinical strength to the team
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU or critical care nursing experience
- ACLS certification (required)
- Hands-on experience with central line and A-line care; intubation experience preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus
- Team-player attitude, accountability, and a caring bedside manner
Education
- Current RN licensure; ADN or BSN in Nursing preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care assessment and bedside management for high-acuity patients
- Proficiency with standard ICU equipment and monitoring
- Experience with central line, arterial line, and EVD care
- Airway management and intubation support
- Basic familiarity with oncology and neuro patient needs is helpful
- Strong clinical documentation skills in an EMR environment (Meditech preferred)
