Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming with dignity and respect
- Provide safe transfer and mobility assistance to promote resident independence
- Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
- Support feeding and meal assistance while following care plans and dietary needs
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control practices
- Engage residents with compassion, offering emotional support and meaningful interaction
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification appropriate for Maryland (required)
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Proof of immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift and flexible per diem availability
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and resident-centered approaches
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
- Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills when coordinating with nursing staff
- Ability to follow care plans and accurately chart resident information
- Compassion, patience, and respectful interpersonal skills with older adults
