Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate telemetry nursing care to adult patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update patient care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record with clarity
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Act as an advocate for patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license (able to work in the state of assignment)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or able to obtain
• Comfortable with cardiac monitoring and interpreting telemetry strips
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Reliable, professional, and ready to join a collaborative care team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and recognition of arrhythmias
• Skilled in IV therapy, medication administration, and titrated drips
• Solid assessment skills for cardiac and medically complex patients
• Experience with interdisciplinary communication and handoffs
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage a dynamic patient load
