Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that preserves dignity and independence
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and professionally in the resident record
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
- Support safe, clean, and comfortable living environments for residents
- Engage residents socially to promote emotional well-being and quality of life
Qualifications
- GNA certification or equivalent required
- Current state nursing assistant registration as required by Maryland
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated experience or interest in geriatric care and long-term care settings
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Reliable transportation and ability to arrive for scheduled shifts
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of Geriatric Nursing Assistant training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling techniques
- Basic infection control and hygiene practices
- Accurate charting and observational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced care environment
