Shift Type: Days as scheduled, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift, Per diem)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric patients
- Take and document vital signs, intake/output, and other routine observations
- Support safe transfers and fall prevention measures to keep residents secure
- Communicate changes in condition to nursing staff and document accurately
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment and adhere to infection control
- Partner with the care team and families to support resident well-being
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working with older adults and supporting their daily needs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Professional attitude, reliability, and a patient-centered approach
Education
- High school diploma or GED; completion of a state-approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical care and safe patient handling
- Accurate documentation and charting practices
- Infection prevention and standard precautions
- Effective communication with residents, families, and teammates
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Empathy, patience, and a calm approach to caregiving
