Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary care visits via telemedicine, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
• Perform thorough telehealth assessments and develop patient-centered treatment plans
• Document encounters clearly and efficiently in the electronic health record
• Coordinate care with specialists, labs, and local resources to ensure continuity
• Educate and engage patients on preventive care, medications, and self-management
• Participate in quality improvement and registry coverage efforts to support patient outcomes
• Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or equivalent) required
• Active and unrestricted California medical license required or ability to obtain prior to start
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care preferred
• Telemedicine experience preferred; comfortable delivering care remotely
• Current BLS certification required; DEA registration or ability to obtain recommended
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with telehealth platforms and EHRs
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

• Proficiency with telemedicine technologies and remote patient examination techniques
• Comfortable using electronic health records for documentation and order entry
• Strong clinical judgment in primary care settings
• Ability to manage common acute and chronic conditions virtually
• Time management and the ability to maintain throughput while providing thorough care
• Effective patient communication and virtual bedside manner
