Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Perform vital signs, documentation, and routine clinical tasks accurately and on time
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to promote comfort and mobility
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible for state certification)
• Active, unrestricted CNA license or registry status as required by state
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding: background check, TB screening, and immunizations
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or able to obtain upon hire
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care tasks
• Reliable documentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
• Compassionate bedside manner and good interpersonal skills
• Teamwork and ability to follow care plans and nurse direction
