Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; schedule includes nights and at least 4 weekends per schedule period (exact days vary per posted schedule)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients, monitoring and responding to changes in condition
- Manage advanced life support tasks including intubation support and ventilator care
- Perform and care for patients with central lines, arterial lines and EVDs following unit protocols
- Administer medications and treatments safely while documenting in Meditech
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support smooth patient handoffs
- Advocate for patients and families with compassion, clear communication and clinical expertise
Qualifications
- Active RN license required, must be eligible to practice in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of ICU or critical care nursing experience
- ACLS certification required
- Experience with intubation, central and arterial line care preferred
- Meditech EMR experience is a plus
- Neuro or oncology ICU experience preferred
- Team player with strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills
- Comfortable managing ventilators and advanced life support equipment
- Proficient in central line and arterial line care and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with EVD patient care or willingness to learn unit-specific protocols
- Experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems for documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ICU environment with a 2:1 patient ratio
