Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiography and routine non-invasive cardiac imaging with accuracy and compassion
- Operate treadmill lab testing and support stress echo procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality data
- Support structural heart cases and provide sonographer expertise in the cath lab when needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiac care team to review findings and optimize patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records, QA documentation, and adhere to department protocols and safety standards
- Educate and comfort patients throughout procedures to deliver a positive patient experience
Qualifications
- BLS certification (required)
- RDCS (AE) or RDMS certification (required)
- Proven experience in general cardiac echo (required)
- Structural heart experience preferred and helpful for cath lab support
- Experience in non-invasive echo and treadmill lab procedures
- Ability to work a 4x10 schedule with alternating weekends
Knowledge & Skills
- Echocardiography and transthoracic echo techniques
- Cardiac sonography principles and image optimization
- Stress/treadmill echo protocols and patient monitoring
- Familiarity with structural heart procedures and cath lab workflow
- Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
- Documentation, QA, and adherence to safety standards
