Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to BMT and oncology ICU patients
- Manage ventilators and BiPAP therapy with confidence and precision
- Titrate vasopressors and infusion drips safely and according to protocols
- Perform tracheostomy care, dressing changes, and total care for critically ill patients
- Operate and monitor CRRT and A-line management as needed
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech EMR and communicate changes clearly
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Support unit flow and mentor colleagues while maintaining patient safety and comfort
Qualifications
- Active RN license (TX license or compact license preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience; BMT/oncology ICU experience a strong plus
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Proven experience with ventilator management, titrating drips, trach care, and CRRT
- Comfortable working rotating 12-hour night shifts and weekends
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR and ICU monitoring equipment (IV pumps, A-line, flow-tracking)
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing principles and bedside assessment
- Ventilator management and respiratory support including BiPAP
- Vasopressor and infusion titration
- Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) operation and monitoring
- Tracheostomy care and wound/dressing management
- Meditech EMR documentation and electronic charting
- Strong communication, teamwork, and rapport with physicians and staff
- Ability to function in a fast-paced oncology ICU with 2:1 patient ratios
