Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) to promote resident dignity
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the clinical team promptly
- Assist with safe and respectful transfers and mobility support
- Support mealtime needs and observe dietary instructions with attention to residents’ preferences
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow facility charting procedures
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and coworkers
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a calm, comforting environment for older adults
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- Valid state CNA/GNA registry status as applicable
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfort working night shifts and providing hands-on care for geriatric residents
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Skilled in safe resident transfers and mobility assistance
- Knowledge of infection prevention and basic wound observation
- Good observational skills for reporting behavior or health changes
- Basic charting and documentation abilities
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
