Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care and daily living assistance to geriatric residents
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting while preserving dignity
- Observe and report changes in residents health status to the nursing team
- Support mobility and fall prevention efforts, using safe body mechanics
- Maintain accurate documentation of care tasks and resident responses
- Help create a warm, home-like environment and engage residents in social activities
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (state-required credential) — bring that experience and pride
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working with elderly residents and sensitive to cognitive and mobility challenges
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff
- Reliable, punctual, and able to pass facility background and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental geriatrics care practices and safe transfer techniques
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate observations clearly
- Compassion, patience, and a resident-first attitude
