Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly to nursing staff
- Support mobility and fall-prevention efforts while encouraging independence
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans and physician orders
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean environment
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfort and experience working night shifts and with geriatric populations
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB screening per facility policy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a care team
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic geriatric care principles and respectful elder care practices
- Proficient with taking vital signs and observing clinical changes
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safe resident handling techniques
- Familiarity with documentation and electronic charting or willingness to learn
- Good interpersonal skills and patience when working with residents and families
- Ability to follow established care plans and report concerns promptly
