Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including hygiene, mobility, and feeding assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and assist with ambulation per care plan
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document patient interactions and care activities clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with nurses and other clinical staff to deliver seamless patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current, valid CNA certification/license for California
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain promptly
• Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
• Comfort working night shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in basic patient care: bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding
• Able to take and record vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Basic electronic or paper documentation skills
• Good observational skills and ability to escalate changes in condition
• Strong interpersonal skills to support patients and families
