Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Perform thorough assessments and document findings clearly and timely
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Float to other units as needed while maintaining high standards of care
• Support admissions, discharges and transfers during your shift
• Maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation and handoffs

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license (PA preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications a plus
• Comfortable working the night shift and able to float to different units
• Every-other-weekend availability as required by the assignment
• Ability to pass required background checks and on-boarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Adaptability to float between areas and handle varied patient populations
• Effective communication and teamwork during handoffs and multidisciplinary rounds
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
