Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned residents
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Assess and monitor patient status, reporting changes promptly
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate high-quality care
• Support patient and family education and safe discharge planning

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of practice (New Mexico) or eligibility to obtain one
• T-LPN / Travel LPN credentials accepted
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Proof of required immunizations and background checks as per facility policy
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and handling a fast-paced caseload

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)
• Current, active LPN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and vital sign monitoring skills
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with wound care and basic nursing procedures
• Competence with electronic health record charting
• Excellent communication, teamwork and patient advocacy abilities
• Good time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
