Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts (typical example: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM). Primary assignment is Days; occasional weekend and holiday coverage may be required. Note: some modalities on site use 10- or 12-hour shifts (Radiology/CT), 10-hour MRI shifts, and 8- or 10-hour Ultrasound shifts as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging systems (CT, XR) and manage image workflow in DR PACS
• Use Cerner for accurate patient charting and exam documentation
• Adhere to fluoroscopy regulations and maintain required fluoroscopy competency and licensing
• Provide compassionate patient care, following BLS protocols and safe IV/contrast practices as applicable
• Collaborate with radiology supervisors, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound teams to deliver coordinated imaging services
• Respond appropriately in Trauma Level 3 situations and escalate care when necessary

Qualifications

• California CRT (California Radiologic Technologist) license required
• ARRT (R) credential required
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy license required
• Certified CT preferred (encouraged)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant radiology/CT experience (as stated)
• Comfortable working in a trauma level 3 environment and flexible for weekend/holiday coverage as needed
• Familiarity with Cerner and DR PACS; experience with Phillips equipment a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skill performing CT and general radiography (XR) studies
• Working knowledge of fluoroscopy procedures and safety
• Experience with Cerner EMR and DR PACS image management
• Familiarity with MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound workflows is a plus
• Ability to prioritize urgent studies in a high-acuity, trauma-capable facility
• Strong patient communication and bedside manner, especially with high-risk OB/perinatal cases
• Team-oriented attitude and ability to collaborate across modalities
