Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of in-center chronic dialysis care with clinical confidence
• Supervise and mentor Dialysis Technicians to ensure safe, high-quality treatments
• Assess patients regularly and adjust treatment plans per standing orders
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients on their care, treatments, and self-management strategies
• Develop and manage individualized care plans and monitor patient outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance clinic performance
• Collaborate closely with nephrologists, social workers, dietitians, and the care team

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the WA State Board of Nursing or a Multi-State Compact RN license
• Current BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• Previous dialysis nursing experience required
• Prior acute or ambulatory nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work any AM or PM shift and travel between PSKC clinics in Mountlake Terrace, Everett, Monroe, and Smokey Point
• Comfort supervising clinical staff and participating in team-based care

Knowledge & Skills

• Dialysis care and in-center chronic dialysis operations
• Patient assessment and monitoring during dialysis treatments
• Medication administration and proper documentation practices
• Care plan development and outcome monitoring
• Patient education and communication with diverse patient populations
• Team collaboration with nephrologists, social workers, and dietitians
• Quality improvement principles and clinical documentation proficiency
• Supervising and directing Dialysis Technicians
