Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' mobility, strength and functional needs to create individualized treatment plans
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to restore function and reduce pain
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, nurses and physicians to coordinate comprehensive rehabilitation
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and techniques to promote independence
• Adapt treatment approaches based on patient response, safety considerations and goals
• Contribute to a positive clinic environment by mentoring support staff and modeling best practices

Qualifications

• Current or compact-eligible Physical Therapist license for New Hampshire (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (DPT preferred)
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Strong patient assessment and manual therapy skills with a rehab-focused mindset
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, or Bachelor's/Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, gait training and functional mobility interventions
• Comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records and outcome measures
• Knowledge of safety precautions, transfer techniques and equipment use
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Strong patient education abilities and motivational coaching skills

This is a travel assignment in the beautiful Upper Valley.
