Shift Type: Rotating day shifts (primarily day coverage) with weekend and holiday coverage as needed; typical 8-hour shifts starting between 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM (common schedule 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). Occasional 10-hour shifts (example: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM). Call/standby as needed. Rotating schedule including weekends

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general radiography exams across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and support a busy fluoroscopy service safely and efficiently
• Provide intraoperative imaging support using C-arm and O-arm systems in the OR
• Perform portable radiography throughout the medical center, ensuring image quality and radiation safety
• Rotate across multiple areas (outpatient clinic, ER, CCU fluoro/xray room, ORs) on a weekly basis to meet departmental needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting using Cerner PowerChart, GE Centricity RIS and Philips IntelliSpace PACS
• Support patient care by following protocols, BLS standards, and maintaining a safe imaging environment
• Participate in orientation and training modules to stay current with department workflows and equipment

Qualifications

• Must have a Washington state radiologic technologist license at time of submittal
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience (traveler expected to cover all areas)
• Experience operating C-arm and O-arm for OR and fluoroscopy procedures
• ER and OR experience preferred
• Ability to rotate across clinics, inpatient units, fluoroscopy, OR and perform portables
• Agency must provide Rad Badge for traveler

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
• Familiarity with Cerner PowerChart, GE Centricity RIS and Philips IntelliSpace PACS
• Experience with Philips DR/CR systems and GE DR portable units
• Hands-on knowledge of Ziehm and GE/OEC C-arms and Siemens O-arm
• Strong patient positioning, radiation safety and infection control practices
• Able to manage high-volume workloads and prioritize cases in a busy acute-care setting
• Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with radiologists, surgeons and nursing staff
