Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for MST patients
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the chart
• Educate patients and families on care plans, resources, and follow-up
• Advocate for patients' needs and ensure respectful, trauma-informed care

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license in California (or compact state eligibility as applicable)
• Clinical nursing experience; prior experience with MST or trauma-informed care is a strong plus
• Current BLS certification required; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred when relevant
• Strong communication and care coordination skills
• Ability to pass background checks and meet health/immunization requirements
• Comfortable working independently in per-diem assignments and collaborating with a team

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment and clinical decision making
• Experience with medication administration and IV therapy
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Trauma-informed care principles and sensitivity to MST-related needs
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to educate patients and families
