Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly to nursing staff — your observations matter
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility to promote independence and prevent falls
• Support mealtime and feeding assistance with dignity and respect
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
• Contribute to a positive, resident-centered environment by engaging with residents and families

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential in-state (or compact verification if applicable)
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or able to obtain
• Comfortable working evenings and the listed days of the week
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and current LNA license

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling
• Knowledge of infection control, resident safety practices, and basic charting
• Ability to observe, document, and escalate changes in resident status
• Compassionate bedside manner and patience with older adults
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks during a busy evening shift
