Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and assist interventional radiologists during IR and cath lab procedures using fluoroscopy
• Prepare and maintain Cath Lab/IR equipment, ensuring safe and functioning imaging systems
• Perform patient positioning, sterile prepping, and monitoring during procedures
• Accurately document procedures and patient care in Cerner to maintain clear clinical records
• Respond to on-call notifications within the required 30-minute response time to support urgent needs
• Collaborate with a team of Cath Lab/IR technologists and nurses to deliver timely, high-quality patient care
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain proper fluoroscopy technique to protect patients and staff
• Participate in required orientation and continuing education to stay current with best practices

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) required
• ARRT-Certified Vascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-VI) required
• California state licensure required
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• LA City Fire & Safety certification preferred/required as listed
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong experience with Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab workflows
• Fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety knowledge
• Charting and documentation in Cerner
• Skilled in sterile technique and procedural patient care
• Ability to work effectively on-call and handle urgent procedural needs
• Team-oriented communication with nurses, physicians, and tech colleagues
