Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team in a timely manner
Assist with meal service and document intake as required
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and interventions
Follow infection control policies and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients
Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in New Mexico
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a long-term care/rehabilitation setting
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completed state-approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of ADLs and basic patient care procedures
Comfortable with patient transfers and mobility assistance
Good observation and reporting skills for changes in patient status
Basic charting and documentation skills
Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
