Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional respiratory care to patients in a 25-bed critical access hospital
Administer advanced cardiopulmonary treatments and therapies as part of a collaborative team
Monitor and manage ventilators, perform diagnostic tests, and respond to emergencies
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans
Attend quarterly education sessions to stay current with best practices
Contribute to a compassionate, community-focused healthcare environment

Qualifications

Current RRT credential from the NBRC
Active ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications
Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience
Ability to thrive in a small, close-knit hospital setting
Willingness to work every other weekend as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in cardiopulmonary assessment and treatment
Expertise with ventilators, airway management, and respiratory equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to a fast-paced, rural healthcare environment
