Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert surgical technology support across a variety of complex procedures including general, vascular, thoracic, ortho, and neuro surgeries
• Precept and mentor less experienced surgical technologists, sharing your knowledge and best practices
• Work independently in a fast-paced operating room environment, ensuring sterile field and patient safety
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia team to deliver seamless patient care
• Utilize advanced equipment including DaVinci Robot and Meditech Expanse EMR

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of current Certified Surgical Technologist experience - non negotiable
• Must hold active NBSTSA certification (NCCT not accepted) and BLS from American Heart Association
• Proven travel experience - first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must have reliable personal vehicle for transportation
• Ability to work independently and precept other staff
• Two recent supervisory signed references required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in general, gyn, vascular, thoracic, ortho (incl total joints), neuro/head/spine, and trauma surgeries
• Experience with C-sections, ENT, plastics, and DaVinci Robot is preferred
• Comfortable using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a high-acuity OR setting
• Ability to take call and handle on-call emergencies
