Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $26 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician or nurse
Take vital signs and prepare patients for examinations
Assist with minor procedures and specimen collection
Maintain accurate medical records and chart patient information
Administer medications and injections as directed
Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patients

Qualifications

Valid Medical Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in taking vital signs and patient history
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
