Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans to help patients regain independence
Guide patients through therapeutic activities and exercises tailored to their goals
Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the care team
Support patients in developing skills for daily living and work activities
Create a positive and encouraging environment for recovery and growth

Qualifications

Valid Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in Connecticut (or compact eligible)
At least 1 year of recent COTA experience preferred
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Comfortable working in a skilled nursing or rehab setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques and patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Time management and organizational skills to handle a varied caseload
