Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehab facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or compact state
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience in a long-term care or rehab setting
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
