Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, Nights, Weekends (some weekends and holidays required)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Receive and give thorough reports on resident conditions to ensure continuity of care
Make rounds on each resident, assessing new admissions and any changes in condition
Document assessments accurately and promptly per facility policy
Notify nursing staff immediately of any changes in resident status or needs
Assist with direct patient care, ensuring call lights are answered quickly
Promote positive relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Float to other units as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Must have an active California CNA license
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP, and ATT
Less than 1 year of experience? No problem -- we welcome new graduates
Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient care and documentation
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
Effective communication with residents, families, and staff
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and float between units
