Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising physical therapist
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the therapy team
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Maine or compact eligibility
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients with transfers throughout the day

Education

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in therapeutic exercises and modalities
Knowledge of outpatient rehabilitation principles
Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
