Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an OTR
Document patient progress and response to interventions
Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and adaptive techniques
Help patients improve daily living skills and independence
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Valid California Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
At least 1 year of experience as a COTA in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and interventions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records
Ability to adapt to patient needs and work as part of a team
