Med Surg Registered Nurse - Nights
Location: Murphysboro, Illinois
Start Date: 07-27-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to a blended Med Surg, Swing Bed, and PCU patient population
- Balance assignments based on nursing workload and patient acuity
- Collaborate with an engaged, committee-driven team to enhance patient safety and quality
- Utilize shared decision-making to foster a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (or compact state)
- 2 years of recent Med Surg experience required
- BLS certification (AHA) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Competent in Med Surg nursing, including PCU-level care and drip management
- Ability to adapt to varying patient acuities and assignment ratios
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
