Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Kapaa, Hawaii

Start Date: 07-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 80 hours per two-week period; also open to 12-hour shifts for 72 hours per week. Must be available all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED
Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with acute medical conditions
Administer medications, IV therapy, and life-saving interventions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to Long Term Care or ICU as needed to support the facility

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Hawaii (must be current)
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in emergency procedures and protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to float between departments as needed
