Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises
Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Connecticut (or ability to obtain before start)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates welcome
CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in treatment planning and goal setting
Knowledge of a wide range of speech and language disorders
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
