Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs throughout labor
Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections and natural births
Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, positive outcomes
Administer medications and perform emergency interventions as needed
Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
AWHONN and Fetal Heart Monitoring certification preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
