Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $72.93 - $54.6 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
Monitor patient vital signs and assess condition changes, responding promptly to emergencies
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in an acute care hospital setting
Active RN license in Texas or compact state
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ICU nursing, including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Experience with EPIC charting system
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
