Hospice RN - Night/Weekends

Location: Missoula, Montana

Start Date: 07-15-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with some day shift coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) as needed; weekends required.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to terminally ill patients with a focus on comfort and symptom management.
Administer medications and interventions per physician orders.
Provide guidance and oversight to CNAs to ensure quality personal care.
Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds to contribute to care planning.
Support families and caregivers with emotional guidance and education.
Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and communications.

Qualifications

Active RN license (Compact or Montana) required.
Minimum 1 year recent experience in hospice, palliative care, critical care, or med-surg.
BLS certification required.
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
