Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, rotating every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients across the lifespan
Triage patients quickly and accurately based on acuity levels
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses
Document care efficiently in Epic EHR system
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in New York or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
Willingness to float to other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and standards
Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions
