Location: Alamosa, Colorado

Start Date: 07-15-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Tuesday-Thursday, 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; call as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Following prescribed techniques to perform CT and X-ray procedures
Adjusting equipment for proper voltage, current, and exposure time
Arranging immobilization and support devices and selecting appropriate film
Cleaning x-ray room and equipment daily
Performing call assignments as needed
Maintaining quality control reports specific to procedures
Performing general office duties such as scheduling and filing
Practicing radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure
Moving equipment into position and preparing contrast materials

Qualifications

Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA-approved program
ARRT Registered with CT certification
Minimum 6 months experience in Computerized Tomography
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
MRI preferred but not required

Education

Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA-approved program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in CT and general radiography
Knowledge of radiation safety and protection
Ability to operate imaging equipment effectively
Strong communication and patient care skills
Detail-oriented with quality control focus
