Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 32 hours per week, schedule to be determined upon hire

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services across outpatient, inpatient, and long-term care settings
Conduct home visits and travel to remote village clinics
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans
Utilize direct access privileges to evaluate and treat patients
Incorporate evidence-based practices and cultural sensitivity into care
Document patient progress and communicate effectively with providers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active Alaska OT license or eligibility
Current NBCOT certification
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
Experience working in rural or remote settings a plus

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Cultural competency and sensitivity to Alaska Native populations
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
