Location: Brooklyn Park, Maryland
Start Date: 07-19-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible shifts, including Shift 2 (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to elderly residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Support residents' emotional and social well-being through engagement and companionship
Qualifications
- Active GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification in the state of Maryland
- Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Must bring a state or federal issued identification to the facility
- Completed COVID-19 vaccine or documented exemption per facility requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of elder care principles and safety practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion and patience when working with elderly populations
