Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 36 hours/week, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize and treat acute conditions
Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses
Utilize Epic EHR to document and coordinate care seamlessly
Ensure a safe and compassionate environment for patients and families

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (or compact license accepted)
At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
Must live 75+ miles from Syracuse (local candidates not considered)
Willingness to float within unit as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Epic EHR
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in high-pressure settings
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
