Shift Type: 1900-0730 (NOC), includes rotating weekends and holidays per facility needs

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to oncology and neurology patients, including chemotherapy administration and monitoring for complications
Manage up to 8 patients when needed, demonstrating strong prioritization skills
Float to other med-surg areas as required to support the team
Perform bone marrow biopsies and assist with EEG/continuous monitoring
Utilize IV pumps and PCA pumps to deliver treatments safely
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage symptoms and provide palliative care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Missouri (must be currently active)
BLS/BCLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in med-surg, oncology, or neurology
Willingness to float and take up to 8 patients as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in med-surg adult care, neurology, and oncology nursing
Proficiency in chemotherapy administration and symptom management
Familiarity with common medications and equipment, including IV pumps and PCA pumps
Ability to handle stroke, seizures, post-op craniotomy, and complications of chemotherapy
